WUP is in a no win situation as far as TS is concerned. Trolls on this board or some silly parent has blown them way out of proportion. It looks like they play two tough games against Seacoast and FSA. If they win someone will say the competition was no good if they loose one or both someone will say they are overrated. No one will watch the games other than the Seacoast, WUP and FSA parents. On the other hand it should be a fun day for the teams! That is what we are looking forward too!

Predictions? Bulldogs are small in general so I say NEFC wins but MPS will give them a good fight. Next year, Bulldogs might win if their boys grow!

If Seacoast has a good game, they win. 2-1. Otherwise I see WUP win who seem more consistent.

These teams did exist 4 months ago much less 24. Body of work????
Agreed, at least Valeo and NEFC parents are aware that most likely kids will be dropped and added to roster next year. Things will change from year to year. They are young and should just enjoy playing soccer and not worry about wins or losses.

Small, as in physically small ( and other teams are giants) or as in u10 playing up?

Yes physically small. Some teams have giants. MPS has no one even close.

And NEFC has physically big players on the team? Actually when NEFC brings down the 3 U11 players playing up on their U12 team no one will have a chance to beat them. There are the top team in this age group.

If they do better against some real completion please let us know ok?
So it is true, you are still talking about this game. Newton United is about player development, not club or team promotion. That game against NEFC was the best thing that happened to the players from a developmental standpoint (besides the BS on TS I hear about). Isn't that what's important, player development at age 9 and 10? Because one of the boys had a serious injury on the field and the team had 50% new players, several adjustments were made on subsequent games. Unexpectedly, those adjustments worked better than predicted as new strengths were identified.
That game has long been forgotten by NU boys, but please continue to use it for your blogger fodder. The important focus for us and the players is how they develop moving forward. See you on the field.
                  Have a great day, guys!

When will the players move down? What tournaments will the team by playing in the spring?

Sounds like excuses to me. new players , 1 injured, coach should have made adjustments during the game. Sounds like the coach needs more development. The E course is being offered in Lancaster this weekend. Tell your coach to register.

Wait until WUP brings up their 4 U8 players. You don't stand a chance!

I went to the NU website in an honest attempt to get some information about the team. The whole thing is basically a creepy shrine to the wins of last years U11 team. Clean it up guys.

NU did this all last year, lost because of a baseball game, injury, should have played better etc. Lost because the other team were better? Not a chance. Then you get all the NU boys are laughing at such and a posts, "international resumes" and the "body of work" of 10 year old boys (seriously?) They are all about winning, not dev. Classless pop club, gone in a year or two.

Using a game for lesson learned is not making excuses. It's called player development.
