NEFC, do not make excuses. All teams faced the same issue. You either can run at Indy or you can't. Don't suggest that the other teams were unfairly amping up their teams.

I don't think the poster is making any excuses. All NEFC teams were told going into the semis that they would not be attending Colorado even if they did win. Therefore, these games meant very little

If the games "meant very little", then why write a post about them and make excuses for NEFC's losses. NEFC's teams lost to WUP and CFC. That is the permanent record.

Think that is correct, the unofficial report on the U13 game is WUP 3-0.

So WUP got four into finals and won two groups; CFC got three into finals and won 2 groups. MPS got two into finals (U17/18 and U13) and didn't win either; and Aztecs got one into finals, winning it.

NEFC, whose coaches and administrators, we are told here, instructed the participants they shouldn't care, got skunked (by turbocharged teams).

Well the players on the 98 roster certainly got much larger on Saturday than on Thursday night!
