    Talk about overstated. Those were 9 year olds wearing Sydney Leroux jerseys that showed up at tryouts, not Sydney Leroux.

      The WPS Breakers were relatively frugal and sound, I don't buy much as changed and now they're getting subsidized. I don't think money had much to do with this as it did marketing. "Letterhead" as the prior post noted. Desperate? In soccer who isn't desperate for a little more attention? Even if it is fading white noise.

        Momentum. After a successful 2013-14 season it will only build further. Fifteen months from now when the 2014-15 season kicks off the soccer community south of Boston will look completely different than today.
