RL is the best academically. Any other consideration is foolish. The academics will last a lifetime, and since the changes to the SAT and the "Core" seem to be moving forward in Project Dumification of America, I would seize any and all academic opportunities.

I agree. That being said, I am trying to get an assessment of the soccer programs so I have a full picture. Any info would be appreciated.

If it's so good, and assuming you are affiliated with it, then would be nice if you would act like it. Would you prefer that having access to special tools and tutors for the SAT be limited to the prep school crowd? Anything possible to keep the advantages in-house???

If you want the best soccer program then you should consider Lawrence they didn't lose a game in the isl and have the best incoming class made of national team players apparently.

Not sure about that but Lawrence is by far the weakest school in the ISL. Hands down.

Judging from where their players have gone this year Amherst, Brandeis, Kenyon and Hobart I woudnt say that's the case. Also their junior class is getting a lots of ivy looks with ak leading the way. I don't think any team in the isl is sending more players to highly selective schools.

Just a few years ago RL produced one of the most trumped up, resume chasing players in Mass youth soccer history.

AK is 22. It is a disgrace

AK is not 22, He might be 19 or 20. His BC says he was born in 97. so give him a break

So it is ok to falsify your BC, play against kids three years younger than you, then get top looks from colleges? Something wrong with that picture

He did not falsify his BC. It was done in order to leave Sierra Leone at a very young age. He started school based on the age of his birth certificate, and always believed he was the age on his BC. When he got older, he tried to try out for an older soccer ODP team and was not allowed to "play up" even though he told them he "thought" he was older than his BC. No one knows for sure, except his mother how old he is, and maybe AK at this point, but the government will only except the official BC used for entrance into this country as official. So no matter when he was born, the date on the paper is his official DOB now. It was not done to gain any advantage on the soccer pitch !!!!

Yes, there is no rule saying that a college freshman has to be any certain age.
