as much disagreement that we've seen in the past few posts about the best player in the ISL, I think we can all come to the same conclusion about Brooks. A top 4 team last year, now not in the conversation at all. It really speaks volumes about the quality of this team and it says plenty about the players on brooks who just expect things to go their way. But soccer isn't like the competition for who's parents make the most money, its about blood, sweat and tears. When these three factors are introduced to the Brooks team, bandaids, baths, and a kiss from Jeeves the butler are the only solution for the Brooks team. I think this explains the fall off perfectly.

Prdeictions coming out of this weekend.....
St. Paul's 1 Milton 3
Lawrence 3 Brooks 0
Middlesex 0 Rivers 4
Governor's 0 Nobles 4
St. Mark's 4 St. Sebastian's 0
Thayer 1 Belmont Hill 2
Groton 1 Roxbury Latin 2
St. George's 1 BB&N 3
Could be some pretty lopsided games this Wednesday....I see Rivers being pretty mad after their loss to Milton and SM continuing to send a message that they plan to win out.

I would expect for Rivers to be getting stronger and stronger as their injured players come back.

Milton may not necessarily be a great team, a great team wouldn't drop a game to Thayer, but they are certainly deserving of respect. Hard to argue with quality wins over Rivers, St. Marks, BB&N, Middlesex, Groton, and RL and with the easiest remaining schedule of the top 4 teams they have as good of a shot of anyone at this point.
Saturday's battles between Nobles and Lawrence and Rivers and St. Mark's now loom large as key matchups. Lawrence and Rivers may be the two best teams but results in these games will be key if they want to finish at the top of the table.

If Milton and Rivers played again a couple more times, I'd expect Rivers to win more than Milton wins. Milton played better than Rivers this past saturday. Good for them. If Rivers played to their normal level I have no doubt Rivers would get the W. But, when all is said and done, Milton was better on that given day. They won fair and square. No doubt that game will be a lesson to Rivers and it will fire them up to finish the season strong, winning from here on out this season.
Lawrence also has 2 ties. I think there are some pretty capable teams out there and any given game can result in a surprise.

A few things-
First , who is SH and what school is he from?
And too settle this whole governors debate - they are a team with (from what I observed when they visited my sons school) four good players.. 1 in the back and 3 in the middle. However the are only as strong as their weakest link(s). Looked like many JV caliber guys playing at the varsity level. This results in lack of solid attack and defense when the ball reaches these weaker players.
And lastly, I think it has to be assumed that Aku is the strongest player. Easily the most class in the league. TD has time to grow and develop and will continue to be an asset to his squad.
