The owner of MLS' 20th franchise, New York City FC is Khaldoon Al Mubarak, an oil Sheik from the United Arab Emirates and owner, chairman and CEO of Manchester City.Had this been an MLB or NFL franchise, the backlash would be tremendous. One of the 9/11 bombers was from that very country and of all places, New York!! The Yankees Group will have to answer to this and better be prepared for some serious repercussions.I guess the media has been slow to catch on to this.
