They lost in Pk's last year. How is PKs underachieving? Year before they lost in the sectional finals. How is that underachieving?

Great move --not only does PT live in town but he will build a real program with a focus on the future and playing the game the correct way. The towns youth program is strong so he will have some talent to work with in the coming years.

The town's youth program used to be strong. It is no longer really considered that by the folks who actually know what is going on. That being said, PT will help bring back the program because of his commitment to the sport.

Time will tell. At D-Y the teams were awful. Canton was very good with outstanding players. HS soccer is all about talent. The season is short and unless you have committed kids playing club year round then you will suffer. Marshfield boys has not been great and they are in a very tough ACL. If PT can get the kids to play soccer outside of the HS season then he will be successful.

Based on my experience, I completely disagree with this. Time and again I've seen HS teams with relatively few club players beat teams that were a lot more talented on paper. The difference? Coaching.
