I'm looking forward to high school sports. By the time my kids get there all the a-hole, deluded parents will be gone......off to chase some pipe dream with their marginally talented kids. It will make the experience in the stands that much more enjoyable. I hope those parents never smarten up.

At least in club soccer, the better players can rise.
I find there is some truth to the pay to play mentality in most sports that has ultimately taken who is the best to be more of who can afford playing. I know kids make it to teams and ultimately decide against it because of either the toxic sidelines or $$$ requirements.
Any hoot, HS sports are hit or miss. Soemtimes the situation is that the kids prefer ending their childhood with those that they grew up with and want to play at all costs with their HS friends. In other cases the kids could be very competitive and wish to focus on playing at the highest level possible and not deal with parents on the sidelines thinking they are a pre-modonna because they are actually better than others.
Whatever the case enjoy any kids success because it is a short road before the grind starts. I personnally like to have a superstar on our HS team because it shows she wants to work with her firends to make something happen for who they grew up with. I know my daughter is struggling with this choice and all that is holding her back is the attitudes she fears she will get if she is successful at helping her HS friends.

Here's another college player and this one did play high school. Ask yourself why she never played in the Olympics.

And then there is of course, Caster Semenya, who has no womb or ovaries and undescended testes, causing her to have triple the levels of testosterone of other female athletes. In the politically correct world we live in today, she is referred to as an "intersex" and has since been allowed to compete against women as she would be in California. It would be "racist" not to let her. But in the unpolitically correct world or horse racing, she would be a he and not allowed to race against the fillies. In that world she would be called a cryptochid.

You are a fool.
Less than .1% of people identify themselves as transgender. I'm sure the numbers will now swell so they can play soccer against girls an use the ladies restroom. Lol.
BTW, your daughter wil be fine. You are the one who has been scared for life. Please don't infect your children.
