Time to end HS soccer. Time for year round club.

I know you’re trolling but high school gives access to so many kids that wouldn’t have it otherwise. It’s definitely not perfect but the community aspect alone is worth it. You don’t get the same community experience when your coach and club directors care more about satisfying stockholders than the best interests of children.

HS coaches get paid a pittance.
They shouldn't be barred from supplementing their income.
And I would gladly move to a town that hires a club coach for their high school. Shows how vested they are.

A reel just popped up in my Instagram feed with a guy ranting about this "new" or "reinterpreted" MIAA Rule so I guess this TS post had some basis in truth https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCUTEKoPf1f/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== .

There is a comment on the reel that the MIAA voted it down but then a reply to the comment saying that "the spirit of the rule" will still be happening and the vote was just a change to the wording so who knows what's going on
