How would you prioritize these in terms of soccer? I know they are all very difficult to get into and very expensive. We are thinking a couple years out for three kids (boy and girls). Ideally we’d prioritize so we can decide whether to apply for sixth (Rivers and Milton) or wait until seventh (Nobles and the other two). Obviously there are academic, cultural, and geographic questions too but I have a better handle on those. How are they on athletics? Need to consider both middle school (where it looks like Rivers has A and B teams) and high school. Our kids would all prioritize soccer, but likely play lacrosse and ski too. Appreciate any thoughts.

If you are looking for a school with strong soccer programs for both boys and girls, as well as a middle school, I would also look at Worcester. They accept more kids as well so its more of a sure thing if they are decent students.

You mention they would prioritize soccer but also ski and play lacrosse. Look at the athletic participation requirements of each school. Some preps require participation in 3 seasons whereas others esp some with strong sports may just require one season and a club or some other meaningful participation in campus life another way. Most kids excelling at soccer these days are playing high level c,but soccer which makes it harder to participate in other sports when you enter high school.

Are you expecting all 3 kids to go to the sane school or would you consider different options for each child ?
