Nah, house is finally in order. They just need to do the right thing by the current staff. DM has already shown he can't be trusted to make the right pick.

why? This one doesn't seem any more ridiculous than any other one.

I’ve seen a lot of good points about the soccer players with ******s at Boston University, but a big one is missing.

I’m on the board of one of the largest non-profit clubs in our state.

About 80% of our budget is consumed by trainer pay and field rental. The remainder is league fees and admin.

About a decade ago we put a kid into MLS. Guess how much money we received from that?

Every year we put a handful of kids into college. Guess how much we see from that?

There is no trickle down. Zero.

Everywhere else in the world, the local club gets some amount of funding from successful development. In many cases, a single prodigy can fund a club for years.

That’s a funding source we do not and will probably ever have.

What you trying to troll on about? Start a new thread if its something legit. No idea the relevance to BOSTON UNIVERSITY?

not sure you are getting the right info, but there is zero chance anyone remains on staff for next year. did the current staff do the right thing by their player(s) while this was "going on"? can't spend as much time together as these people do and claim to have had your head in the sand. tough break.

Are you seriously expecting colleges to pay clubs for sending players to them?

Do you actually take this troll seriously? Clearly, they have no idea that these kids are student-athletes and don’t understand that concept. With this logic shouldn’t colleges pay high schools for sending academic scholars to colleges as well?

You charge tuitions. It is free in the foreign academies that you mention.

Completely disagree but interested in where you're getting your info. Current staff can't monitor a sick witch of a coach 24 hours a day, when most of the misconduct was happening in off hours. Sure there was obvious favoritism, but every coach has favorites. The current staff should be applauded for not only keeping this team on track and focused, but for exceeding every expectation of a team that went the entire first half of a season winless. The only one who had their head in the sand was the AD who never questioned why CB had such short stints at HC & Penn. And he's to be trusted with bringing in another unvetted, sick F of a coach? No thanks.

NF fostered a true sense of community while she was there and many who played for the program are truly appalled by the rumors circulating. Curious if this season the only time the issue has been raised? Had it been also raised in her previous season time at BU? Administration should share the blame if this is a repeat allegation and it was allowed to persist because of their inaction. Maybe there are more shoes to drop?

Without a full understanding of the issue, I can't see how this relates to her. She's been gone for three years, hasn't the entire staff rolled over?

It absolutely has nothing to do with NF. The point being made is the drastic change in culture, which is very disappointing for former players and friends of the program to see and hear.

wasn't CB on NF staff as an assistant before leaving for Holy Cross?
