Parents of kids who finally stood up to them at 13 and quit soccer or weren't good enough to continue haunt this board for eternity. A cautionary tale to other parents...

Right. Kids can't understand why they were put into a club scene when they weren't even 10-years old because their idiotic parents bought some line. Then, to make it worse, they bltch and whine about it all the time so if there was a glimmer of hope their kids would actually learn to love the game, it's all for naught because their parents soiled the entire experience. Then, to make it worse, they blame everyone else for their poor decision making.

What does that have to do with sucker parents though?
I see. You just have the same demeanor as the know-it-all whose kid is riding the D1 bench. Two games in two seasons kind of player. But he’s honest to a fault so I’ll believe you.

        "Know it all"

Because OP whines about getting suckered into the club soccer scene too young and blames others, I'm a "know it all".

        Gotta' love it.

There's lots of kids riding the bench. There's lots of kids playing a lot. There's even more in between. Watching people squirm over their bad financial decisions is as funny as watching posters guess who others are. Good times.

Your lack of awareness is astounding. Your kids must be so thankful to finally get away from you.

            Cool.

Back on point, you bought into some club's sales pitch and now are blaming....who, exactly, for your lack of knowledge and financial acuity?

In a sea of annoying posters, one woman has felt the need to shine. Bless her heart

                No kidding.

Instead of internal soul-searching over poor decisions, she just doubles down and then, when called out, just decides to drift away from any responsibility by trying to out others and making it personal. Not related to the thread, just personal.

                Complete lack of self-awareness.

                ;-)

Regardless of playing time it’s a great accomplishment and one I hope for my own children one day.

I truly hope Vance/Walz debate on this pressing topic of Club soccer and its legality at the sub U10 age groups. Can’t believe it hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Really is hell on earth. If you ever want to see the worst of the human race head to a "jamboree" free for all. I fail to believe anyone is dumb enough to get roped into this for more than one year.

Club soccer at those ages are mostly scam, especially those “jamborees”. But hey, if they can make money off of those parents, that’s not my problem.

That’s because it’s full of Mass-holes. CT left NECSL years ago.
