D1 or D3 all end up at the same place. For 99.9%
Let the kids have fun and compete and get an education. Regardless it doesn't matter in the slightest. Maybe you get some $ to help the education affordability but other than that it doesn't matter except to losers like you.

How about we turn this into a real thread? Since D3 is a large group it probably makes sense to keep it local-ish.
I will admit that I had to go to the NCAA website to see who the better teams are in this division (relative to their peers) https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer...ional-rankings, good to see a lot of local schools like MIT, Tufts, and Amherst in the top 11 Nationally.

Amherst always seems strong, always feels like an upset when they get knocked out of the NCAA tournament (lost in the Sweet Sixteen last year). But they are losing their 2nd leading scorer, assist leader and starting GK to graduation (unless they are taking a 5th year), so it will be interesting to see if they can stay as strong as they've been the last few years.
MIT was strong enough last year to earn a spot as host in their bracket for the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament but also got knocked out in the Sweet Sixteen round. They are losing their top scorer and leading assist, best defender and GK to graduation (unless they are taking a 5th year), so again will be interesting to see what they can put together for this season.
Also expect to see good things from Williams and Bowdoin. Both are losing some significant seniors, but neither relied heavily on one or two scorers and both have very strong defenses.
