You can thank your goalkeeper for that, Porters dad. WA probably had 70%+ possession.

On a side note, I just want to give thanks to whomever does the NEPSAC girls standings website. He or she is doing god’s work. I just hope they don’t have a graduating senior and will be back next year.

They also looked like 2 teams who played Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, one with OT Sat. Both teams have looked stronger this season than they did today.

Why on earth does Nepsac make them play Semi & Final back to back ? Even the MIAA gives public schools several days of rest in between all their tournament games.

Prep schools have a longer Thanksgiving break . Thanksgiving is late this last year but I know in the past the soccer players were playing the semis and finals after the school thanksgiving break started, They also play a much shorter tournament. MIAA has 30+ teams vs 8 in preps so the preps don’t really need the break.

3 games in 5 days with the semis and finals back to back lead to some ugly tired finals. Stop the season 4 days earlier and play Sat-Wed-Sat. Doesn’t seem that difficult to remedy.

Amazing how quiet this thread gets when Porters loses. On behalf of every parent from every other team, thank you to Worcester Academy for shutting up Porters dad. To all parents of prospective Porters recruits, go back and read the last couple weeks of posts in this thread. Ask yourself if you want to be associated with this guy for the next 3 years.

Second time in two years Worcester Academy is being thanked for beating a team...last year it was BB&N.

I'm not Porter's Dad, but I have to say what Porter's has done this year was unbelievable. To get the furtherest they have been in the tournament in what most thought was going to be a rebuilding year is truly outstanding. They will be very dangerous next year and years to come. With that being said, well done by WA for remaining consistent and played a great season.
