I know Class B isn't as exciting, but Class B will come down to Dexter vs Tabor and Dexter will want to avenge their loss to Tabor

Good luck to all the NEPSAC playoff teams tomorrow. Should be a lot of exciting and competitive quarterfinal games. From my observations NEPSAC has to be one of the best high school conferences on the East Coast (in a lot of sports). Ton of elite D1,2,3 talent on almost every team. Lots of negativity I’ve quietly observed on this forum but let’s face it, your daughters are all amazing and representing some of the best high schools in the nation! Congrats to all teams for making the dance.

I'd quibble with number 2 and placing nepsac anywhere near Ivy level. There's one prep school school near Andover. The rest of elitist enclaves - Exeter , etc - formerly great schools that now struggle to attract the best students and athletes - Amherst - or just mediocre schools with enough remaining brand-name patina to convince dumb parents to overpay to send their kid there.

Yes, David Zaslav, the CEO and president of Warner Bros. Discovery, has made a number of changes to HBO that some say have "killed" the network:- Laid off staff
Zaslav has led multiple rounds of layoffs across the company, including divisions that oversaw HBO Max's unscripted, kids and family, and international content. - Pulled shows
Zaslav has pulled acclaimed shows from HBO's library, including Westworld. - Merged HBO Max with Discovery
Zaslav merged HBO Max with Discovery's streaming service to create a broader offering called Max. This move buried HBO's premium content within a larger selection that includes Discovery's reality TV library. - Scrapped projects
Zaslav has scrapped projects, including the nearly-completed Batgirl movie.

Felt more like individual (vs team) mentality to me. This is the problem with the top-level teams at the top prep schools - many of the players seem to be getting parent/outside advice to maximize their own touches and not play to help the team. Honestly, maybe they have the right idea, but NEPSAC as a whole gets less opportunities when players don't sacrifice for the team. I'd rather that my kids learn good values and a team mentality, but winning the ball and playing quick, two-touch soccer does not seem to impress area coaches as much as the kids who take more time on the ball, even when they lose it a good percentage of the time.

Players that I see playing correctly in club show up in NEPSAC and dribble the ball until they lose it, but they threw in a step over on the way and their ignorant coach starts oohing and aaahing so they do it more. My player has fun so I keep my mouth shut but the soccer is by and large unimpressive.
