One other thing from a post regarding recruiting from a week ago.
Choate started 4 freshman and 2 sophomores today against Westminster. The rest are Juniors with two senior captains.
Whoever is using the excuse that teams graduate 9 seniors whether it’s BBN Westminster or whoever then drop off to become average for a year or two, that is a problem yes?

Choate played in there half almost the entire game. Shot after Shot. Westminster goalie was very busy and made great saves.

You don’t get it. All of these teams are way closer than they have been in the past (at least in the ISL). There probably will be 4-5 loss teams make it into the playoffs. A loss to Rivers or Govs can happen to anyone and it’s not “embarrassing” but actually just a sign that every team has a few players that can make a game competitive. New reality…good for the league.

All four of Choates freshman that start and started against Westminster yesterday all just came from 8th grade. You are correct about one thing. One of the sophomores was a repeat freshman.
If you are throwing out 08 09 birthdate or whatever excuse you are trying to make; the difference is by a month or two. (Didn’t look that deep)
Bottom line - Choate is very young but very talented. They only have a couple seniors and a post grad( that didn’t play vs Westminster)
sorry but that’s the truth
