There is no one left for 7 and 8 besides Andover and Thayer.
Hotchkiss is toast unless they beat Loomis and Taft in their next two games.
They can beat up the weaker schools but are not at the level of Porters and Choate obviously.
There is no one left except Hotchkiss on a thin thread.

This isn’t much different than Andover who only won games against Nobles and Worcester for higher ranked teams. All the rest were against class B or low A. I think a case can be made for and against Thayer, Andover, and Hotchkiss really.

Hahahaha nice try. Nope. Looks like as of today Thayer is in and Andover easily in beating two high ranked previously undefeated teams. Pretty easy guess you are from Hotchkiss.

1-3 will win it imo. That’s Choate / BB&N / WA. Loomis has an outside chance. None are the powerhouses of old but still have more than enough on any given weekend.

Hotchkiss dad- you might be the one that was badmouthing your goalkeeper after Choate loss and blaming it on the kid. But now you have losses to Worcester and Porters. You do not have a possible chance to make the playoffs and can’t beat the top teams. If you beat Loomis and Taft that may raise a little discussion in the committee but pretty doubtful you will do that.
Loomis is fine and will be a 5 or 6.
Andover and Thayer are 7 and 8.
Their schedules are way tougher than Hotchkiss which committee looks at.
So let’s be real!

Who would you suggest then?
Top 5 are locks. Choate, Porters, Worcester, BBN, Nobles.
After that everyone has faults and plays weak schedules. You can argue about Thayer, Andover, and Loomis but any argument you put forth applies to the next grouping as well -Hotchkiss and Milton. Beyond those teams you can’t really put up an argument for making playoffs.
