Coach Jason Tassinari - Righting a Wrong

Not sure I'd call this an apology, but after a recent discussion with a higher up at Pembroke High School, I feel that it's important to say that my original post in January was out of line. Our daughter wasn't happy that she wasn't chosen to be a captain, and genuinely liked JT. She developed into a very good goal scorer. Coach even brought medical concerns he had about our daughter to the Pembroke AD. My understanding is that it was his decision to move on from Pembroke. He was an emergency hire in August and did a very good job in his 1 season with the program. A great family that's been through a lot of turmoil. Our daughter was part of a team bonding activity that was meant to be fun and harmless. His coaching staff and captains have told us that some of the more mature "who's most likely" questions didn't come from Coach JT…they came from a few of the players. Posting our negative thoughts on this website and calling his club and college employers was wrong to do. The talking soccer website doesn't allow regrettable posts to be deleted.
It's been brought to our attention that Coach's health has recently suffered as a result. We sincerely apologize and have officially moved on and look forward to a successful 2025 season with the new PHS coach

Coaching with Taz was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. He’s honest, caring, and smart. You’re lucky he has class and character (and patience). I have no idea how he can resist the temptation to physically or verbally rip you apart.

Stop making them into heroes!!!! They called his college AD at MMA last week and mentioned his Seacoast club team in January! Anonymously!! They are trying to blackball a good dude! A “learning experience” my ass!

I waited a couple of hours after you posted this to respond! After waiting and delaying my response I want to say the same thing I felt after reading this! That is to say F*** you!!!!!!! You are the reason why nobody wants to coach high school anymore! Your kid wasn’t good enough and now you see it, but you decided to try to ruin a coach and a good man and smear his name because your kid didn’t get captain!!!!! You are the definition of everything wrong with being a parent today and you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Coddling your kid because she didn’t get what she wanted and you trying to smear and get the coach fired because of it is why we now live in a generation of entitlement! How about you teach your kid that if you want something, than work your ass off and work harder then those ahead of you and surpass them, rather then doing nothing and complaining when things don’t go your way!!!!!

I’m glad your recognize you made a mistake and that takes courage to admit you are wrong, but instead of coming on this anonymous forum, how about you pick up the phone and apologize to the coach that you tried to ruin! You are a pathetic human being and an embarrassment as a parent and based on your actions I’m rooting for your daughter to now fail and get cut from the high school team all because of your actions and I hope people reading this use you as an example of what not to do as a parent!

hey fellow parents, how about you take a gut check and start to understand your kid isn’t as good as you think they are! Be a f****** role model to them and teach them to work harder and good things will happen, rather than be a beta and complaining because your kid isn’t good enough! Playing soccer is a vehicle to teach life lessons and all you parents need to understand that coaches are teaching life lessons through the game to get them ready for what life is really like.

Parents reading this, use this as an example of what not to do and teach you kids the concept and understanding of putting in the work to get the results! Teaching them this will set them up for success in life unlike this pathetic clown who made it about them and their ego because they thought their kid should have been given the captaincy based on entitlement rather then earning it!
