Chicago Red Stars game breaks NWSL attendance reco

UConn alum Rachel Hill plays for Bay FC and BC alum plays for Red Stars. Could this 35,000+ attendance record mean that women’s soccer can thrive in the US?

The challenge with getting women's sports to thriving status, is getting more women to go.

Won’t have to worry about the new Boston team breaking that record. Their stadium will only hold 10,000 people. After the first game if they sell that out I will be shocked.
No one is going to go to Franklin park and have park their car far away from the field and take a shuttle bus to get there.

Im hopeful the Boston team will stick but realistically I give it 5 years before they bail and move. Even good teams in bad locations will struggle, bad teams in bad locations fail.
