This seems to be a bunch of tier 2 teams compared to previous years. No Bolts, NEFC, Seacoast or Revs?

Yes it’s boys. It’s a tournament they do each year around this time for each club’s rising seniors. They usually have an all star team, but it looks like there are a few all star teams his year. Not sure why Revs and Bolts aren’t playing this year. Maybe a bunch of their guys are on the all star teams?

          Are you kidding me-

Bolts u17 are in 9th place
          Bolts u16 are in 5th
Revs u17 are 5-4-5 and didn't make playoffs
          Revs u15 are 4-10
NEFC u17s are the only decent team not in it
NEFC u16 are in 6th place
          Seacoast u16 are in 10th
          Seacoast u17 are in 10th

Why wouldn’t the Revs and Bolts and Seacoast enter? I have to think they were invited. It’s an opportunity for your players to play in front of a lot of college coaches without having to travel. And it’s an opportunity to play local clubs that you don’t normally play and win bragging rights in MA.

You’re clueless. It’s also a potential opportunity for them to lose and get exposed. Especially for the Revs. They are focused on producing professional players and the last thing they want is for their top players to get recruited away from Revs II or the MLS team. It makes total sense why they aren’t playing. They also don’t want to take a chance of any player getting injured by some spaz from Stars or Surf.

These players you suggest the Revs are trying to shelter will be playing the following week at MLS Cup in front of hundreds of college coaches and just did the same a few weeks ago in Maryland at Flex. Maybe that has more to do with not entering a local showcase.

Their u17s could play they didn’t make mls next playoffs and rumor has it they are not going to TN even for the showcase. Not too happy in Revs land!

Also the u19 got beat 5-0 by IFA MLS yesterday. Yeah they are top tier?

                  yes 5-0

-the Revs have serious concerns with identifying talent and coaching

Agreed. The Revs are already exposed. But if they play in this, it would be the 17’s and they would potentially lose to IFA and not win the tournament which takes even more shine off of the allure. How is possible that the local MLS club can’t put together the top teams at every age group in this region?

Please. Are you aware that we won the national championship last year at u19? That’s the pinnacle of success. Highest age group at the highest level.

Yes with Revs 2 kids! Come on people wake up

They had a good team last year this year only the 19s qualified for Cup and had to bring Revs2 kids down again.

                        the 15s
                        4-10
                        17s
                        5-4-5
                        19s
                        6-5-2

19s only beat 2 NE non MLs club Bolts and Seacoast.

                        they couldn’t beat
                        oakside
                        beachside
                        bayside
                        Nefc
                        ifa

this is not something to be proud of!!!!!!

Please post some scores? Would be interesting to see if this is legit competition from the teams involved?

You have to download the app to get the scores and stats. Two all star teams made the final. IFA lost in the semi on PKs and were unlucky. The All Star teams had some legit players. Not just local kids. Some international kids and west coast kids.
