Should ECNL players be allowed to play in BAYS league games?

You must be a lower division team. Top division has ECNL players sprinkled throughout all of the teams. The top division has almost all club players and while the ECNL players standout they don’t takeover a whole game as you describe.

But to your question: yes she should be allowed to play and there should never, ever be a single complaint like yours. Your kid is there to compete, so compete. Would you raise this same question in High School? I hope not. And then really what’s the difference between high school and 8th grade town?

Not our experience today. We needed a win to make playoffs a got beat 3-2 by a team with ECNL player that scored all 3 goals. She was totally dominating the game when she was in (good for her) but what I’m asking is if it’s fair? I’m sure she gets plenty of special training and plays plenty of games. What does she get out of bays games other than ego stroke

1- who cares if it is an ego stroke?

2- isn’t complaining about not making playoffs really about you NOT getting an ego stroke?

This is insane. Every competitive town will prob have one top ECNL star on roster. And if you don’t, you’re prob in a low division anyway.

Probably low division town with little to no club players. If your town team is full of club players they can handled marking/defending top talent with a little planning. Maybe your coach was unprepared.

She's going to be playing high school. ECNL doesn't forbid it like MLSN. Kids should be able to play with their friends and shouldn't get penalized because they are really good.
