U12 boys, so pre-ECNL/RL. Teams 1-2 play NL, Team 3 plays RL. We have 12 teams in the AG, for context. 14 kids on each of the top 3 teams.
Aug-Dec kids by team:
Team 1: 3
Team 2: 4
Team 3: 4
Put these 11 together, they will beat the younger NL team by 2-3 goals, team 3 already beats the younger, regionally respected, NL team on a regular basis.
Aug-Dec makes up ~42% of the calendar year, Aug-Dec births make up 26% of the Team 1-3 rosters, underscoring RAE. I expect 5 of the Aug-Dec kids to make the younger NL and 6 to be on RL.

On my kids top 50 in the nation via ranking app GA team.
Roster is 22 and there are...
- 3 Trapped players
- 1 girl playing a year up
18% of the team is not Q1 or Q2 of their Birth Year.
The one girl playing up has an early Jan birthday.

Can someone explain the Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 cut offs? If you have a kid born in May where do they stand with the Q's? Can we assume that these will now be the youngest and will be dropped the quickest.

May is q2
Don't make assumptions based on birth month.
Riley Jackson went pro straight out of high school and she's a December baby.

Real question is how will clubs go about this? Will all fall kids (national and regional) make national team for their grade / SY?
