So what would SSS's next years results say about ECNL and GA?

Let's just look at 4 cases:

    a) SSS more wins in ECNL than GA
    b) SSS same wins in ECNL than GA
    c) SSS less wins in ECNL than GA
    d) SSS much less wins in ECNL than GA

    SSS's 5 teams (ignoring U19 since they will not be here next year) have a #1, #2, #2, #5 & #6 team in GA.

obviously in case d), it would seem to imply ECNL >> GA
    case c) ECNL > GA,
    case b) ECNL == GA ?
but what about case a)? I am guessing that there will be lots of fights about this one. (and maybe case b) as well). People will say things like SSS recruited better players since the players wanted to be in ECNL, or silly things like that.

Personally I am interested in seeing what happens (and with the Ukes in the North Atlantic)

It says the reason why we have a broken youth soccer system is because of crazed parents like you. You are the fueling it all and the system is more than happy to take your money.

not sure what this means. I just think it will give people legitimate data to look at to compare the leagues. I understand it you make you money based on the perception one is better than the other and then they can make their decisions based on this, not just what some failed semi-pro player thinks

It will give a basis of comparison. I’m not OP, but I think they were referring to the fact that you are obsessing over this months ahead of time as being an example of what is wrong with youth sports in America. Caring so much about a youths teams record is insane. At least let it play out before you start dissecting it.

Exactly. One of two things I figure:

            1) Parent of a SSS player, and looking to brag
            2) Parent not of an SSS player, which makes this beyond odd

Anybody who bases their decision based on this is a complete idiot.

Legitimate data? How so if the teams change every year? How do you take that into account? If SSS wins every game then I think all we can assume is that they put the best teams together this year. All of their id clinics, their team tryouts, and marketing was a success because they were able to bring in the best players and create the best teams. Is this select experience special? Idk about that. One would expect a club that continuously brings in better players (better then their own) and makes teams with the best players, to win games.

Data, whether legitimate or not, will not start appearing for 4 months at younger ages and 6 months for HS ages. What could you possibly be arguing about now? Get a grip. Enjoy the end of your season. Enjoy your summer.

Can't enjoy my summer. I'm too busy fretting over youth soccer results for a team my kid isn't even on. My summer is ruined.

Wins are the result of many things

                      - Players
                      - Coaches
                      - Facilities
                      - Location
                      - Leadership
                      - Parents
                      - Commitment
                      - Etc Etc Etc

This is why over time clubs that consistently do everything "right" always tend to win a lot.

If you look at SSS history it will tell you everything you need to know about its future.

Heard on the sidelines this weekend that some SSS players got ECRL/NAL combined offers. Can anyone confirm this? Would it be practice with ECRL and sometimes play up, but primarily play in the NAL? What I heard is that offers from SSS were ECNL- ECRL- ECRL/NAL- NAL- RAL.

Yes, i heard this as well. Im assuming if they need guests theyll pull from that group, but i wouldnt hold my breath. Just seems to be another way to string players along.
