NEFC has no class. Poaching players from Aztecs. Disgusting organization full of horrible people, especially at the top. People bash 3Step and I get that, but NEFC are the real scumbags of youth soccer. There isn’t an honest person in the entire club. So gross!!

Why wouldn’t a club try to get players and coaches from another club that is clearly going under?

It is the problem of youth soccer in the US. The big clubs are controlling the leagues. Stars and PDA are in charge of ECNL, NEFC in charge of GA in the northeast. Instead of adding a couple of really competitive programs to GA, they rather take a second badge themselves and let some inferior clubs enter the league. Smart business on the short term.

They’re doing what anyone with common sense would do. This happens in the corporate world and in academia. If an organization is crumbling, others will pick up the talent. Nothing dirty about it.

Makes sense- Aztec going down- they mine as well take on other players-it's a business- businesses are there to make money- and start to care less about player development.
What bothers me about them is they raised their tuition and pushed out my daughter's coach due to what I assume is guilty by association with the early season issues with the director.
they have really made a lot of changes affecting current players, raised tuition , changed coaches several times, coaches yelling at trainings at each other in front of players. NEFC has lost its soul this year

I say don't play for any club that has been a big factor in fracturing the leagues and wasting thousands of player hours and probably millions of parent dollars with unnecessary travel for league games, for poorly matched competition.
Of course, that rules out Stars, NEFC, SSS, Aztec, and most of the others.
