DPL vs. lower ECRL (ECRL2?)

It's the league comparison game again! Interested in opinions about DPL vs. the New England ECRL (ECRL2 or however you refer to it). I am well aware that the larger region/higher ECRL is above both and perhaps more comparable to GA, and I've read all that discussion. I'd like to hear about the next step down.

My main interests are quality of competition and potential recruiting exposure at events. Again I realize these are 3rd tier leagues at best, recruiting will be light and focused on D3. I just want to get any opinions and feedback about the difference between the 2 leagues.

it’s all “alphabet soup”. Find a club you like and a coach you like and stick with it. It changes every year as teams just want to replace one $4k kid and their parents check book with one slightly better who can write the same $4k check. Coaches switching for more money and getting bonuses for kids they bring with them. If your kid is good enough to play in college they will find them. Don’t overthink it.

since they are all club v club vs team v team, it is really hard to compare clubs overall. All clubs have lower quality teams at certain ages that your team will be forced to play in either league if they happen to be your age

One has more travel than the other. That’s the real difference for someone in your situation. For what your child is seeking, she will need to be contacting targeted colleges and following up regardless of the two leagues.
