How will SSS teams do next year in ECNL?

Ill start with the 3 older groups:

2007's - last place easily. Probably won't win a league game and will score very few goals. This will be a disaster for this team. Luckily, club ends next year for this team.

2008's- last place. Probably win 2 league games. Should compete in a few games, but last place is a very good bet.

2009's- should be a middle of the pack team. 5th place. Around .500 all year. Beat the bad teams and lose to the good ones. Nothing special, but out of these 3 teams just mentioned, they should be the best of the 3 teams.

Funny how you stop at 2009. If you know anything about select their younger teams will do just fine actually very well in ECNL thank you. 2011's might actually win the league. They are a very very good team. Keep an eye on them.

please read 2007 thread. U sound exactly like the 2007 select parents when they were younger.

If they get the top NEFC 2011s then I agree they will finish near the top.

How do people come up with these long posts that are disconnected from reality?

The bottom of the table is reserved for FSA, East Meadow, and Stars White. Those clubs literally anchor the conference.

Did SSS leave some rosters spots open or do a staggered offer process in the hopes NEFC girls will join?

SSS 2010's aren't anything special and should head right towards the bottom as well. seems like SSS can be added to the bottom of the list with FSA White and East Meadow.

You mean they didnt develop anyone internally to be moved up either? Even if they paid for all the extras? Shocking

Serious question, will anyone other than BH coach any ECNL teams?

they just dominated stars white this year, who in turn dominated stars blue

So you think SSS 2010 is special?

No one in this thread has said that the 2010 team is some special, world beating team. What has been said is that they will likely be above FSA and East Meadow - which based on their recent results against ECNL teams seems reasonable.

The problem is assuming the rosters they have this year will be the rosters they have next year. The idea is to now have a carrot that keeps the best kids from leaving and attracts others. The losers in this equation are Stars and NEFC. SSS will hope the announcement was early enough to enable them to really recruit/upgrade each team.
