How is this possibly true? All the NAL teams except one are in MA or very close by in NH. Rochester is a long haul but it's the only one that would require an overnight trip. ECRL has multiple overnight trips to LI and ENY.

A little less. Schedules show 15 games for ECNL, 14 games for RL New England, 11 games for RL Northeast; and less travel for tournaments / showcases as well.

As you say, the opposite of what was posted is true.

But what is also true is that the level of competition in NAL is about the same as ECRL2, but without the long and overnight travel.

The OP that started this exchange said the choice was between NAL and white ECRL. White ECRL is in ECRL1. Further ECRL2 has no correlation to a national team so why compare.
