Why would the teams in first place take any new players when they are doing just fine as they are.

"Just fine" in New England does not necessarily mean nationally. So yes, a good coach continually seeks to deepen their team.

If your kid can make a Stars Blue team and play, it would be worth it to go (assuming logistics are ok). They have the best collection of talent, will be playoff teams across teh board, and their college placement record is great. My kid does not play for them as we could never make that work with work/school/location but 100% would have if it was realistic.
