Just saw on their FB page they added DUSC to league play? Is GA just letting anyone in now? It’s an PITA to get to their fields and it’s surrounded by trash. It’s gross. Someone explain the reason they would add a team that has zero chance of winning any games in this league with no proven track record? GA now a laughing stock with their recent additions.

DUSC is where NWSL Gotham plays their 2nd teams.
GA added DUSC likely because they want everything in place when NWSL Next is rolled out.

While definitely a step down from ECNL events, it still remains a great platform to be seen: especially for the girls on the better GA teams. It sucks for the better teams, like NEFC, STA and CSA Monmouth(in the Northeast), that the quality is getting so watered down. It will be interesting to see how these event numbers change next year with GA teams likely on a whole getting weaker and many of the newly admitted ones being poor.

better teams in NAL. Here are the average standings for each team and the W-L-T1.17 30-2-4 NJ Premier FC NJ Premier 3.33 16-7-7 STA STA-MUSC GA NAL 4.00 16-9-2 FC Somers Celtic 4.50 16-20-6 DUSC DUSC HS Select 4.67 13-16-7 Chelsea Piers SC Brugge 5.17 11-15-4 STA Mount Olive Soccer Club STA MOSA NAL 5.67 9-24-11 Long Island SC LISC GA2 6.17 7-25-5 New York SC NYSC GA II
My guess is that the 2 NJ teams at the top do NOT want to be in The Northeast division and are waiting for the GA to open a new conference in 2025. It seems that NJ Premier got "Girls Academy Event Status" for next year (I guess it means what is says) http://njpremier.org/article-3

Is NJ premier that good, or all of those teams that bad? Seems like they are absolutely destroying the competition?
