ECNL showcases are always tiered. The top teams in regional brackets play other top teams and so on
comparing W/L record across different opponents is useless

The core of the team is excellent. I am not a blue parent, so I’m not beating any drums here. But any team with that many bubble players is going to end up playing kickball.
frankly, I agree with the people who think white is a better team at this age group and has a better culture. Send the top players there if you want to contend nationally.

Not because Blue is better and White players are joining the Blue team, but because once they create a top team, that team becomes the Blue team. Stop thinking of it as padding the top team, and think of it as creating a brand new team that is now named Blue. In most age groups, Blue is far superior and the good White players get moved over earlier. 2010 is unique where both teams have a handful of good players. Neither team should let their Win-Loss record cloud the fact that each team has too many just-ok players to compete at a National level. Whites conference record should remind them of that. Blue need only look at this past weekend to know that truth.
given that these blue coaches (minus Kevin) are more responsible for the 2010 blue culture than anyone else, and that they are responsible for the current composition of the under performing blue team...
I think it’s a fair question to ask why this set of coaches gets the top performers?

The 2010 Stars girls have not consolidated their talent all on to Blue. PW will make the proper cuts and move his bottom 6 to white and the top 6 on white will be moved to Blue. They are a year behind on consolidation and I believe it was due to the upset of KM being fired end of season. This upset many. PW has been assessing and working with what he was given. The issue with Stars Blue is also that SM coach of white did not want his top players leaving white. He held on to them. This meant instead of having a powerful team and a second team, we have holes in the blue team. It’s really not that hard to move the bottom 6 players of blue to white and top 6 players of white to blue. Easy fix.
