I understand NAL girls was only offered as a concession and place to land after GA2 flopped. However it now seems they are accepting applications for next season so one would think they are trying to grow. Why does all their social media focus on boys then? Except for one token post about girls and women in sports day their social is 100% boys.

Girls season hasn’t started? The younger ages played in the fall just like boys. No coverage.
If you don’t want to focus on the girls too, then don’t include them next year. No problem with the fact that they added them last minute this year (although it’s not like it was a giant favor; they still paid just like the boys) but if you’re actively moving forward with girls as a league going forward then don’t treat them like an afterthought.

They offered spots to a couple of clubs but were turned down, seems everyone is going ECNL or ECRL route in MA and Academy in RI

These comments have to be fake, no parent would actually care if their 12 y.o. isn't on social media

I heard a valid concern that a league that is attempting to get additional girls teams involved is at the same time categorically ignoring them. NAL doesn’t get to pretend to be the savior of the girls teams dumped by GA, take their money…and pretend they don’t exist. At the least, make a statement that girls programming won’t exist beyond this year so clubs and parents can plan accordingly.

NAL disappearing on the girls side is a good thing. There are too many leagues and these leagues only exist for profits. Merge the leagues and streamline them. Much better for development

You and my 8 year old have a lot in common. Anything you disagree with is fake. He probably has you beat by a few IQ points though.
