ECNL is not expanding anymore. They got Nationals, which is one of the gems they'd wanted. Top Hat would be great in terms of name recognition but Concorde's already sort of eaten their lunch.

Not sure why they took Ukrainians. Good club but in an already saturated area. Unless they plan to drop one of the bad PA clubs for perennial underperforming.

I think they will pluck top hat tbh. another poster that predicted the 4 clubs leaving GA, claims TopHat is leaving just a matter of time.

Girls Academy has given up trying to compete with ecnl.

their approach is now bringing soccer to underdeveloped areas hence the addition of all these unheard of clubs.

ECNL boys is being decimated by mls next. Their only chance at survival is to take the remaining champions league clubs

Looking at the rankings app the GA clubs at Champions Cup would beat 80% of the ECNL clubs and they'd be an even match for the upper 15% of ECNL cliubs.

The top 5% of ECNL would still likely beat GA top teams/clubs. But, it varies by age.

So the bandwagon ECNL dads can still gloat that their league is "better" than GA. Unfortunately, the top ECNL 5% are in California and Texas so if you're in MA all you're doing is riding their coattails.
