Nobody leaving ECNL for GA but GA clubs will always leave for ECNL if given the chance

Nonsense. There are around 1000 D1D2D3 schools out there looking for players. ECNL can't begin to fill all the spots. Coaches shop both leagues and depending on what they are looking for /their level may take more from one league over the other. The loss of some clubs doesn't change the fact the league has however many dozens of clubs with players who can play in college. As long as GA stays large (that this is close to the end of the bleed) and provides successful players to colleges, the league will be fine

You’re looking at the wrong end of the market. Look at it from the consumer side. Are you willing to pay $4k/yr + travel expenses for the chance to get seen by a low end college soccer program? What is the advantage of playing GA over DPL at that point?

Not sure how you think losing 2 of the top 5 clubs is a great offseason. Certainly recruiters won’t see it that way, but someone’s trash is another’s treasure

Dont believe me? Ask your typical ECNL parent that comments online which club their kid plays for. They won't say. Ask if their kid is playing in finals. They'll say yes. Then ask again if their kid is playing in the finals or just a showcase happening during finals.

In addition to the ECNL Champions League, the ECNL North American Cup will be held at the U15, U16, and U17 ages, while two ECNL Showcase Cups at the U16 and U17 levels will also take place at the ECNL Girls National Playoffs.
