And this will also show that not every stipend position is posted every year, some districts, yes, some districts no.

So Technically the poster above is right. Every year the job is supposed to be posted but schools no longer go through that exercise unless their is communication with the current coach that they might not be returning or the school is looking to make a change. Coaches are on a 1 year contract at public schools. There are no long term contracts or agreements but most are again handshake agreements between coach and AD
