I remember when an article like this happened last year + Tophat was #2. All the Socal people I knew went bananas because they were sure their teams were better. Some even turned into mathmatical magicians trying to explain how what was written just couldn't be true. Turned out whoever wrote the article used all teams in a clubs overall performance and college placements as the measurement metric which are both highly subjective.

This was before the rankings app so rankings were much more subjective.

I know of several additional on the GA + ECNL side that should have been listed

Go ahead and share your thoughts. I think it’s a pretty good and fair list, not sure which clubs are left out? Concorde, Hawks, TSJ maybe?

Relax FC Stars parents, all this means is that NEFC are in the conversation as a top club in the Northeast. To be recognized in any capacity in the company of these other accomplished clubs is a high honor. Well done NEFC. Good to see GA representation as well. With ECNL throwing shade and punishing both Tophat & NEFC its good to see them gets this recognition and ex[posure.

These lists are often weighted heavily towards clubs that produce YNT and pro players.

1. Good for those clubs. Congrats.
2. Nefc has Nico and Kendall as noted in that article. Both are done with club. Expect nefc to drop as a result.
3. Take these lists with a grain of salt. 99% of girls only care about college and don't give pro soccer so much as a single thought (and why would they at 55k per year). So a more relevant ranking would heavily prioritize college placement and scholarship.

FYI, I'd say the above regardless of whatever ecnl or ga club made the list.

Rumor has it they looked at coaches who have been employed by each club and Stars didn't make the cut due to JB and SM being involved. Tough one.

Email the soccer rankings app developer + they'll create a list based on whatever parameters you define.

The developer will also seed tournamants. All you have to do is email them.
