Training sessions- High level teams

So, why are so many coaches mailing it in? MLSn club not delivering high quality sessions. Did we choose the wrong club?

MY kid plays MLSN and our club is horrible in the way they train? Kids give up HS soccer and much more to commit to this level, but doesn’t seem the club or coaches are making the same commitment.

Nothing tactical, technical or game ready. Same sessions over and over again!
Players are not fit, they are lazy and unmotivated to me a direct result of the training provided.


Can someone give me a break down of how your club trains. No trade secrets, but coaches need to motivate players and make them work no matter the age. It’s suppose to be competitive and developmental up to a certain age then it’s competitive.

It is the highest level for a club why is the coaching and training not better!

If you want better MLS training you'll have to leave the state. OW and BS are a joke. If that's not an option, then consider what he's giving up and if it's worth it.

Oops sorry I thought I was on the CT page. If your kid isn't at the Revs it stays the same - is it worth giving up HS for the other lesser MLSN clubs?

Shhh they won't say in fear of being found out. Lol. My kid plays u19 bayside. Smaller club. Tough for them to be competitive. Level of play/training is higher than HS for sure. Is it worth it ? I guess that depends on each player and how their individual HS is doing.
