I am an assistant coach on the women's side. Norm Riker deserves coach of the year for winning 5 or 6 down the stretch to make the post season, so I disagree with the OP. Amherst #3 absolutely deserves player of the year for the second year in a row. She will likely win it next year unless she moves on to D1. She is great and I agree with the OP. Midd #18 is absolutely under appreciated. She is one of the most competitive first years we ever saw even though she is not flashy. Once the Midd coach played her consistently, her points went straight up including 2 goals against Williams. Her goals tended to be clutch in the context of a challenged offensive attack.

Still a Mammoth world, but with some changes

            Men
Coach of the Year: Justin Serpone (Amherst - have to give the props for the tournament title)
Player of the Year: Bowdoin #22 (separated himself in the end with a good tournament - #2 in conference points and 26 total points on the season)
Rookie of the Year: Amherst #21 (totally separated himself with his tournament results including the championship game)

            Women
Coach of the Year: Jen Hughes (Amherst - regular season and tournament titles - enough said)
Player of the Year: Amherst #3 (nobody caught up with her numbers this weekend - 7 conference goals and 17 conference points)
Rookie of the Year: Middlebury #18 (rookie points leader in league with 5 conference goals and 10 conference points)

Congrats to Amherst on a great season on both mens and women's sides
