SUSA Columbus Weekend 2023 Tournament 2011 Girls bracket

My kid's 2011 ECNL team is heading to the SUSA tournament next weekend. Her team plays in North Atlantic conference. The tournament schedule just came out and her all three games are vs. New England Conference teams (Stars White, SUSA and World Class).
I know SUSA is very good team, have no idea about other two. Are they any good? Can they compete against PDA Blue, Penn Fusion and MFA?
Also, where is the Stars Blue 2011 team? It would be awesome the see them playing against top NE teams.

Stars white isn’t very good and Susa will beat them 10-0. Blue is playing in the ocean cup on cape cod.

Why would they set them to play in top bracket? I hope we are not spending a bunch of money to play a non-competitive games. It's shame the Stars Blue team is hiding behind, it look like a mediocre tournament, on Cape Cod.

Stars Blue isn’t hiding. Driving to LI for a Columbus Day tournament after playing 2 tournaments in the past month is unnecessary overkill. Especially since Stars will be back on LI the following weekend for league games. White 2011s are going because SM takes his 2010 team to every tournament available.

They would be playing teams that they may play again at ECNL playoffs vs. playing mediocre U14 teams at Cape Cod tournament. It doesn't have a sense at all.
Also, almost every elite team played at least two tournaments in last month or month and half, so that is a lame excuse.
I think they just dont want to play NJ and PA teams that are as good or better than them. Scared? Maybe.

Driving to Long Island and staying in hotels 2 weekends in a row is foolish. Especially if your Stars White. That’s a lot of money to prove you are a bad team. What are they hoping to achieve by doing that? Even Stars Blue 2011s going to the cape that weekend is foolish.

More importantly, is this really a Stars White parent trying to taunt Stars Blue? That doesn’t make sense at all. Must be a troll.

I could be missing something but the only MA ECNL team is White, so this is a White parent?

Are you staying at Cape Cod for free, if yes, please sign me in.
Second, driving a few extra hours to play the teams that guarantee you a three ultra competitive games vs playing U14 nobody is an an easy decision for anyone except Blue, I guess that is why they are nowhere close to the national level elite clubs..
Third, traveling twice in 7 days is not big deal, get ready for it because it is not getting less, if you want to be any good.

Ah yes! The old “the farther you drive, the better you get” line. Every time a soccer parent buys into it, an angel gets her wings.

Not sure why you’re getting so personally offended by what Blue is and is not doing, but chill. They’re U13. It’s not that deep.

Are you saying Blue isn’t good because they don’t drive to Long Island two weeks in a row. Get over yourself. You say you’re driving for ultra competitive games but you’re really driving for three embarrassing losses.

My kid is a u17 ECNL player and I promise you that there is no benefit at u13 to driving to LI for a tournament the week before going there for regular season games, except to set your money on fire. ULittle ECNL teams don’t “need” to travel far to tournaments and play “ultra competitive” games in addition to league games. Half of the kids on these teams at u13 won’t be there by u16.

Blue is keeping many teams together on the Cape. It’s allowing parents with multiple kids, and coaches with multiple teams to be in one place. It’s also a fun change. We are all heading to LI following weekend. Happy to go opposite direction. Nobody hiding. We are hoping to have a bit of team bonding while we are there too.

You are correct, if your kid is playing an average travel team, there is a lots turnover between ages of 13-16. However the elite teams with very talented soccer players are not changing, maybe a couple players on the end of the bench, but starting players are there to stay. If your kid is not playing at elite teams at the age of 13 she has very slim to none chance to be at the team at age of 16. The top team coaches are pretty good in recognizing talent at early age.

The White is on Long Island. I guess they are team bounding somewhere else than Cape Cod.
