That’s a true scam. Yeah, hard to believe that parents fall for that.

Why does SSS charge players $200-250 per player to attend a tournament when the entry fee is $1000? 12 players minimum ($200) = $2400? Where is the rest of the money going? I understand that coaches travel needs to be paid for, but how much travel cost is there in a two day tournament to NH? The club is pocketing $1000 (minimum) per team per event. When will people wake up to the scam being run by SSS "leadership"?

I’m still waiting for the return of fees prepaid for the tournaments we didn’t go to during covid. Thanks Select. Pretty sure you received government funds during the pandemic to subsidize while I was out of a job. Guess you needed the money more than me.

Curious about the pool player practice concept. I understand sss says its great for development but are we talking about individual or team development? Is the idea that individuals with their own skill can play with whatever team week to week bc team dynamic is not really relevant? Do any teams practice as team alone to work on team dynamic besides GA? I suppose I could go check out some practices but wondering if that is the gist of pool player practices - isolated individual skills in a group, drills etc, followed by scrimmages and then just find the right mix of girls to play together on Sundays to win games? There is certainly big enough pools at each age group there so could see how that would work. And then of course the Coach roulette could also work since its more about individual players vs teams in that way. If I care mostly about my child’s own individual development vs team would this be the best path?

it was also the the start of the fall from grace for NEFC. 2020 was the absolute pinnacle for NEFC. Ever since that year it has been downhill for NEFC who by 2023 is now is JAC! on the road to nowhere.
