    2023 Girls Public School thread

Other than Hingham, what other teams are going to dominate girls public school soccer? Seems like a very weak and down year for the publics.

Hingham which lost most of their top players and cowardly dropped themselves from Division 1 to Division 2? That Hingham?

Bishop Feehan should be good as always.

Silver Lake lost too many top players to be able to defend. Probably looking at a .500 season.

                Not how that works, actually

                  Is that a private school?

Sorry. They decided not to ask for a waiver to be in Division 1 this year. Semantics.

Or are you saying that Hingham has suddenly experienced a mass exodus so their enrollment now falls within D2 parameters?

Hingham was a D2 team for a long time. Won D2 3 times before recently being moved up. They were one of the smallest D1 teams last year. They are right on the D1/D2 line for enrollment.

Hingham would win both D-1 or D-2 this year so does it really matter what division they are in?

Not sure I agree. Losing 5 starters is tough. We'll see I guess.

Lol. D1 is more competitive. So yes. Dropping a division and saying “but we would have won the tougher division too” is an extremely pathetic stance to take

NDA looking like the team to beat. Wins the week vs Hingham (4-0) and Duxbury (3-2)
