Change out Stars White for NEFC immediately

Talk about an entire club playing some bad a** soccer all year just look no further than Stars White. I am calling for NEFC to take Stars White's spot in ECNL immediately. As the next best club in Massachusetts, not in ECNL, it's time to replace White!!!

    05/04- 1-7-5

    club total for 2022/2023 :

    6 wins 54 losses 9 ties

    NEFC for ECNL anyone???

Haha I thought the same. NEFC and Stars white are interchangeable in terms of talent. But no Stars not giving up their prized 2nd national team. Move along NEFC hopefuls. You guys had a rough start in many age groups with parents, coaches, players, time to focus on internal clean up before you throw shade.

FSA is even worse, but they have the best facilities so I hope they stay!

Right? It's not happening no matter how badly someone wants it. Yes ECNL should relegate persistent poor performers but no way Stars is losing white. FSA is also gawd awful but their boys ECNL teams are pretty good so politically it's unlikely they'd demote the girls teams.

            It is what it is.

Truth. Can’t vouch for all age groups but my D played both for multiple years and the reality is there is as much talent on White as NEFC. Commit lists bear that out.

              The replies should be interesting….

Also, friendly reminder that NEFC was once in ECNL but voluntarily left the league. No one to blame but yo own damn self.

While it was true that NEFC's top team played in ECNL for one season, it is not true that NEFC was in ECNL.
Boston Breakers Academy was in ECNL, and BBA contracted their youth program to NEFC.

Never going to happen. They’ll bring in a new org like Alley Cats before NEFC ever jets back in. It’s like franchisee rights. Another Mass club isn’t coming in.

^^ This. Important distinction. NEFC been chasing ECNL fruitlessly for years.
They found a wormhole for one year (1718) bite at the apple. By Spring of 18 ECNL clubs went All-In (and did not include NEFC)
Fall of 2018 NEFC was on GDA Island, and by 2020 that Island sank

We are happy with NEFC and the GA but id advocate for a move to ECNL in a minute….but not to play for the Stars or Scorps. It’s not going to happen and if the badge was important we’d move. It’s not the badge though, it’s the coaches, practices and teamates. Undeniably, ECNL is deeper but who cates, exposure seems similar…pick where you are happy

Exposure seems similar? 900+ coaches attending the NJ ECNL Showcase last weekend. Compare that to the 230 who attended the GA Champions Cup Finals in March. It's really fine if you value the coaches, teammates and practices but let's not pretend to think the two "pathways" are comparable in terms of the exposure.

We'll see what coach attendance looks like later this month. GA Playoffs and ECNL Playoffs overlapping on separate coasts. Lots of tough decisions for coaches.
