Setting the Record Straight: FC Stars Blue

A club that is the target of a lot of nonsense. Let's set the record straight with facts:

2004/2005 8-3-2 2nd place. 2023/2024 commitments include: Duke, North Carolina. South Carolina, Miami (2), UConn (3), UMass Lowell, Holy Cross, Temple, Fairfield, Bryant, Elon, UM, NYU, Dartmouth, Tufts, and Northeastern.

2006 11-1-2 1st place.. 2024 commitments include: Boston College (2), Sacred Heart, UConn, Fairfield, Merrimack and Holy Cross

    2007 7-3-4 4th place

    2008 11-3-0 2nd place

    2009 7-3-4 3rd place

    2010 10-3-1 3rd place

Remaining 2006 2025s will be committed early in the next window.

2007 2025s also will be committed early in the window. Watch these closely as this will give you a clear view of the valuable of this club.

54-17-13 for the 2023 season with 4 teams qualifying for Champions league. At PDA ECL showcase next week there will be 100+ colleges at each Stars Blue game. If you desire your daughter to have the best opportunity to play in college and with the best competition week after week this is the spot. To be clear it is not easy. Playing time is not equal, training is intense, coaches can be difficult but you will be ready.

Other local clubs also give similar incredible opportunities but results and commitments are not at the same level. This is a fact.

You seem to actually be setting the record crooked, just in a different way. Because this seems like a post by someone who doesn't really know what they are talking about.

Stars Blue is a collection of very good players. Certainly a good vehicle for a New England player interested in playing in college.

But nobody who knows what they are talking about would say this stuff:

"Remaining 2006 2025s will be committed early in the next window.

2007 2025s also will be committed early in the window."

The "remaining" 2023s aren't committed (19 of 25). 100% commitment doesn't happen. Which is fine, people set their priorities. It's still a good list of commitments.

The 2006 2025s aren't going to be committed this summer. The 2007 2025s aren't going to be committed next summer. Because many of the 2024s aren't committed now. Which again is all fine and not a knock on the players or the club. But the post above isn't how it works.

        Therefore, the post seems fake.

Maybe to draw attention to how wonderful Stars Blue is, and draw attention away from awful Sky Blue will be? That's been the tactic all along. Talk about Blue, then sign them up for Sky Blue.

Will this thread also include factual information on the recent firings? Maybe that can be added by the OP so we have a comprehensive thread.

There are 20 girls on 2004/2005.. 19 are committed 95%
The 2006 2024s are all committed
The 2006 and 2007 2025s will each have 30 schools calling them on June 15th with many commuting before September 1st.
You can try to change narrative but these are the facts.

              2007s I say that’s a bit of a stretch.

Yes. Please clear up the firing of KM and why this was done to 2010 blue. 2010 white SM sabotage maybe?

Again there is a long history here of commitments, year over year over year. College coaches could care less they finished 4th. The phones will be ringing and there will be another dozen 2025s committed this summer.

Here is a fact: GB's flagship 2007 team is missing the playoffs altogether. Prime recruiting year. Oops.

"best opportunity to play in college"

                    Obviously not.

Here’s the issue. “Each” of the 2025s will not have 30 schools calling them on June 15th. “A few” 2025s will have 30 schools calling them on June 15th. “A few more” will have several schools calling. “Most” will hear from a couple schools within a few weeks. That’s the truth and that is a very, very good outcome. When you stretch the truth, your shoot your self in the foot, looking ridiculous making excessive claims. Blue girls will do well in recruiting. Leave it at that. Why so desperate to make sure everyone knows?

*Majority will have.. On a team of 20, at least 11 will have this many schools calling on June 15th..

Here's a fact; coaches don't give a crap if they make playoffs or not. They recruit players, not teams, nor scores, not rankings. Players they like will get phone calls. Period.

The 2006's have more commits than listed, e.g. Southern Cal.

I think COVID broke 2007 parents' brains-- once uLittles is done all this stuff is a joke. Ask yourself why there are no 2004, 2005, and 2006 threads on the board.

To be fair, they started before Covid....which is even scarier since that means it was a long time ago. And, they were skewered over it then.
