Another attempt to hijack another thread. Please go away.

I guess since you judged them that way. I was only speaking to one - the angry liberal up in the politics section.

          Kristie Mewis

Does anyone know where Kristie Mewis played at ages 10-18?

I know she played ODP for 4 years and at Whitman High School.

Did she play club soccer at the early ages? ECNL, or was that around at that point?

ECNL was not around then she played for Scorpions.

                Troll?

Name calling when you don't even know what the word means?

                Troll, for asking a question?

                What a clown!

My bet is this is intended to be a carry over from the most recent D3 thread. Go read the beginning of it. There were some posters really bashing KM's academic record. My bet is someone is trying to call attention something written in that thread because they felt it was particularly egregious and feel they are posting something similar to it in that D3 thread.

I saw Kristie Mewis play last night, and she was incredible.

I just wanted to better understand where she played, especially being from MA.

My understanding from looking at the initial posts is she played Scorpions SC from ages 10-18, also played HS soccer, ODP, BC to NWSL.

I wonder if she grew up playing both town soccer and club.

My understanding is that she did follow the more traditional path and probably would have participated in her town soccer program at least initially. I think you will find that historically she is not unique amongst the similar level players from this state.

I don't recall anything close to what you suggest in the D3 thread.

Decision-making for your daughters in today's day and age is not easy. There are so many different avenues. I didn't have an agenda for posting from an old thread; I just happened to choose one with her name to better understand her player development history.

I didn't think it would be tactful to create a new thread entitled Kristie Mewis.

                          Thank you for providing information.

Her path historically is like most of the best female players from Mass at that time she played Club (one of the 2 best teams---at that time Scorpions/Bolts...then Scorpions/Stars ) and ODP and High School (when she wasn't playing for some of the younger National Teams). However, while her path was not unique...her talent and drive certainly is, proven by her status on the National Team and in the Women's Professional ranks. Best female player from Mass I've ever watched in person at Club and College level.

Her talent is precisely what should be admired because she is so unique. The D3 thread is really about those who want to glam off people like her.

There's no doubt about it, KM is a talent. I thought she played at such a high level last night at the Breaker's game. It's not just that she scored a couple of goals. Just watch her fitness out there, she was sprinting all over the field and playing tough defense. Her ability to find the open player was just spot on last night... positioning, movements, passes. It was one of the best women's games I've gone to in a long time.

A question for you. In today's landscape, any thoughts on leagues or avenues for a young talented player?
