Since there seems to be by my guess 3 people coming on here calling ECRL Northeast, ECRL 2, I thought maybe some of you who are educated and have kids playing in current ECRL New England could shed light. I’m not sure the need to create a narrative about a region that hasn’t even fully formed yet, nor have teams even been assembled for this new region. The only think I can think of is clubs not included are feeling insecure. Let’s cut through the fake news.
I can only speak from what friends of mine involved in ECRL current New England region. They love it. Travel is fine and clearly organized well in advance. They enjoy playing clubs from NY and NJ while attending local tournaments and playing the local talent too.
Im told depending on the birth year Stars regional teams are locally stronger than say Scorpions but that’s based on birth years and my friends have 2010, 2009, 2008. I know zero about the new region but I do know one thing it’s not called ECRL 2.
