This whole industry just treats everyone like a bunch of morons. And they don't care about the parents who figure all this nonsense out when their kid hits U15 because they've already sucked 20k out of you and they just move on to the next group of parents to swindle for 5-6 years.

You all act surprised. You have noticed the extreme inflation over the past year or so, right? The soccer industry is not immune to this. Travel costs, gas costs, electricity costs, equipment costs have all gone up. Labor (coaches) cost has gone up. Coaches need more money to pay for all of their household expenses that have all gone up. Not a surprise.

That's because there are so many teams playing in crappy leagues and parents crowing about how great their teams are, so everyone believes it. There's a whole world out there with a lot of great players. Big fishes in small ponds end up on dry land eventually.
