You making my point perfectly, selfish kids afraid to get hurt.....pussies!

The question is simply going to be if Americans in the Boston area are ready for this. No idea if he will be successful in producing professional players, because Americans may not be able to adjust. My prediction is he fails, because the American culture is too deeply engrained
I'm hearing quite the opposite from some parents (non-Americans) who played the game and are fairly knowledgeable.

Well,, this new regime won't have that issue with Fair play....they will ride the backs of all players (including the not so good players). Seems like if you're selfish and want to play high level D1, leave the Bolts as playing only 1/2 a game may not get you noticed.
DC must have had some troubling off field issues for him to get sacked.

So if the team has 5 mid fielders, regardless of skill, attendance at practice, or attitude, the 5 players will get the same opportunities to start and they will get equal playing. If your son plays a position where there are not other players, then the "fair play" policy will not affect him. Bolts is not fielding teams to win games. It has been said repeatedly this year, since DC was fired, that winning is not important, improving how we play the system is what matters.
Is there a written policy statement someone can share?
Did this just recently go into effect or has it been in place all along and is just now being enforced?
Does it apply at all age groups and for all levels of teams (excluding USL, I assume) -- MLS Next through NECSL Flight 3?
Doing it by position seems strange. They don't play kids at multiple positions, especially at younger ages? If your kid is designated as one of those 5 midfielders, why wouldn't he play left back or forward and get more time? Does equal mean actual equal minutes--like someone is timing it--or just "we try to keep it as equal as possible."
Do they keep shorter rosters to make sure all these kids getting equal time still get sufficient minutes?
