If the players are able to thrive at an older age group, that will benefit them in the long run. I'm not advocating for it for most players, but for some playing up an age group helped to drive their success later on.

If that were my kid, no way I'd let that happen. People are too concentrated on their kid's wins to boost their social media activity.
