Re read the original post, it says they were at a US National ID camp. Exact words. Clear to me. Your anti-Stars Blue attitude took you down a wrong path. Re-read my post. I root for all local kids, I don’t care what club they play for. Someone responded with a single “USYNT” which is different than id camp, I was only pointing out the difference. Sorry you feel the need to be so defensive, good luck to all girls who get the invite to any US camp.

Usynt was to define which ID camp because some other poster suggested it was ODP. It was a USYNT regional ID camp. Regardless, I applaud your stance of rooting for all the local girls to succeed. We should all feel that way.

of course there is: WITHOUT THE 4 09's on 2008 that team is a VERY VERY average ECNL team. They are the 4 best girls on Blue 08. Don't you think there is a reason Blue doesn't move those 4 girls down to play 09??????????

So playing them up, which good for their development, is an issue? If they played on 09 then 08 would be average, right? So if picking between the two why wouldn't the club give high potential players better development opportunities? Some years there's just not a lot of talent. It happens. You're making far too much of it

Why wouldn't they move 09 Blue players back to their appropriate age group and then they would have a team that is actually competitive nationally?

What is best for the player? Team results are irrelevant.

If the players are able to thrive at an older age group, that will benefit them in the long run. I'm not advocating for it for most players, but for some playing up an age group helped to drive their success later on.

Bingo. It's unusual to have that many playing up but as.long as they are thriving and are big contributors to the older team, why wouldn't the club leave them there? Its good for them, good for the team. If that changes then they get moved back

So, impact the development of a player so the club could win a title?

If that were my kid, no way I'd let that happen. People are too concentrated on their kid's wins to boost their social media activity.
