Really? Where? Last weekend was the heavyweight battle of the year. Respectfully I’m not seeing a great matchup unless I’m missing something ? It can’t be nefc vs bayside

Question: what club would you look at in the metrowest or metrosouth that has good coaching and a decent 2011 team that isn't a ECNL, ECRL, GA or DPL type club? Looking for somewhere located south of the Pike to about Rte. 24 or a little beyond that maybe. Finding the competition in NECSL midlevel league not challenging enough. Can't make the commitment or travel required of ECNL/ECRL teams, and isn't good enough to play at that level anyway, but loves soccer and wants to be challenged a bit more. It seems like there's a pretty sharp dropoff in talent somewhere between the top and where she is now. Took a look at the rankings app to see if it would help find a sweet spot, but I don't see many options. IFA? Old School? Scorpions State Select?

Maybe Seacoast MA? I think they’re based out of Taunton, and despite the name the NAL doesn’t seem to involve all that much travel outside of the region on the girls side.

Stars White ECRL practices at Forekicks in Marlboro. Travel is only 1 weekend each season to Long Island or New Jersey. It's not much. Reach out to the coach to have her attend winter trainings so that she can be evaluated.

                    Same level as NAL

I actually have similar question but we are in the Chelmsford area. The Aztec teams in Tyngsboro were always competitive against non national league teams but I’m hearing their coach who just brought everyone to stars has quit. Does stars care about the Tyngsboro teams or will that fade away with the top guy no longer around? There do not seem to be a lot of mid tier options in this area.

I thought Seacoast was at Union Point?

I think Stars white ecrl is probably a bit too much for her (just a guess, haven't actually seen them). Thanks for the thought though.

A hard lesson is that clubs don't care much for any teams below 2nd tier. And they care nothing for teams outside their headquarter location.

Disagree somewhat. If you are below second tier at the flagship location, the club doesn’t care much. If you are in a top team at a satellite location it really depends on who the director is off that location. Satellite directors are often trying to make a name for themselves by getting the best out of their region. Others are collecting a paycheck and nothing more.
