Surf Navy is very talented. Yes they have 1 - 2 talented players but the team works well together. SSS is a talented bunch also and they have a full line change at 11v11 so a ton of players on the team, all get half of a half playing. None of these teams will ever play each other due to different leagues. Pre-ECNL, Pre-GA, DPL they don't mix.

Who cares. Best teams mean nothing. Especially when they are only ‘best’ because of 1-2 kids. The best players are what matter. Surf won’t be able to keep the best players and the team will be left far lower in the rankings. Later on, older, best teams matter because they are a combination of all the best players.

What happens if Juve folds, where do those girls fit in? If SSS and Surf send their best to Blue then where do those who are displaced go?

If Juve folds, every other club will absorb a portion of their players. All of the NECSL and DPL teams across those clubs will get marginally better as the talent is slightly less diluted. Those clubs will have more mediocre teams spaced throughout the lower levels. Juve’s status will not affect GA and ECNL teams at all. Kids bound for that path would have left Juve anyways.
The Surf and Select kids that will inevitably move to blue will fill out a larger roster for 11v11. Many of the lower kids on blue will get displaced. Just like every other birth year before them.

It comes from the fact that top kids never leave blue to go to the other teams but top kids leave the other teams to go to blue.

as for 2009 the 4 best players on Blue 08 are 09 players. If/when they move back down to 09 then it is Blue/ NEFC as the 2 best teams in 09.

When that happens, I'm thinking sss 09 would be #2 as they have only lost to nefc 09 once in the last 3 years. 11s have not been formed yet at any of these clubs, and most of them teams have not played each other

NEFC doesnt hold a candle to SSS in 09. (played against both). would love to see Blue play SSS 09 with the aformentioned. would actually drive to see it. would be a great game . my thought would be in a seven game series blue wins 4-3 , all 1 goal games.

Surf will pull everyone from the area east of 495. Stars will be left recruiting from Western MA and Worcester. Can't even imagine what will happen to Scorpions. Maybe they'll just give the Scorps badge to Surf.
