Stars have played SSS, Surf and NEFC.

NEFC should not be in the sane discussion. Lower tiered league no where near the talent as SSS or Blue. Maybe they beat White and Scorpions. Huge maybe. Juventus DPL would beat them hands down

Maybe for 11 year olds but give it a couple years and they will have a solid team. Likely will beat SSS by U15.

What are you talking about? NEFC pre-GAs play in the same league as SSS pre-GAs. They also just beat Liverpool Impact 2010s, who beat Stars 2011s earlier this fall.

NEFC's problem is that they're doing a pool and distributing playing time mostly equally this year, and the bottom third of the roster is really weak.

In the long run that ‘problem’ will pay off.

That's not a player pool, unless you have multiple teams. Giving all players time on the pitch is not an issue and should be the norm

So giving an 11 yr old time on the field is a problem? Let me guess, you're from Norton?

Not the OP, but is a pool with enough for two 9 v 9 teams. But they don't split into a and b teams like Seacoast and SSS. Everyone plays all games.

Correct. As a result they may win less games at u12. Who cares. They will form a solid team next year built from kids who had a full chance to develop this year. All of the lists of best 2011 teams that do not include NEFC will need to be re-written next year. By u14 the list will read: Stars Blue, NEFC and then a mess of poor teams claiming to be #3. Just like always.

NEFC is not a threat at any point. SSS would wipe the floor with them as well as Juventus. Numbers does not equal talent

I can respect this, since merit and impartiality is a major issue. See the SSS thread for the mess they have created

2010 Select team once felt that way too.
